Continuing Education for GSA 2026!

Continuing education credits for the GSA 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting are provided through a collaboration between the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM) and the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). To ensure the highest educational quality and compliance standards, all abstracts will undergo a thorough review process by PIM to ensure they align with accreditation requirements and learning objectives. Additionally, speakers may be requested to submit their PowerPoint presentations in advance for review to confirm content accuracy, relevance, and adherence to continuing education guidelines. This rigorous vetting process ensures that all educational content meets the necessary criteria for continuing education accreditation and offers attendees valuable, up-to-date information in the field of gerontology and geriatrics.

Registration

All meeting participants (Speakers, Chairs, Discussants, etc.), are required to register to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting. Register by 11:59 PM ET, September 1, 2026, to receive the Early Bird rate.


To confirm your participation at GSA 2026, all speakers must register by August 6, 2026.

Abstract Book

Accepted abstracts will be published in a supplement issue of Innovation in Aging , under the title: Program Abstracts from the GSA 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting. The Abstract Book will be available electronically only.

The abstract information published in the Abstract Book will appear exactly as provided in the abstract submission (i.e., author information: names, institution/organization, city, state, country; abstract title; abstract text).

(early bird rates are available until 11:59 PM ET on 9/1/25)

Sunday, March 1. The reservation hub will remain open until all GSA-negotiated space is sold out or until September 28, 2026.

Starting Sunday, March 1, exhibitor, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities will be available. Sales will remain open until all sponsorships are sold or through November 6, 2026, with exhibitor sales closing on October 30, 2026.

Abstract acceptance and non-acceptance notifications were sent on May 26. If you did not receive a notification, please contact abstracts@geron.org as soon as possible and be sure to check your spam or junk folders for messages sent from abstracts@geron.org.

Please note: Program Areas open for Late Breaker Poster Abstracts Submissions are: Behavioral and Social Sciences (priority will be given to GSA student and transitional members and non-member students); Biological Sciences; Health Sciences; Social Research, Policy, and Practice; and Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education

All selected abstract speakers must register or withdraw for GSA 2026 by Thursday, August 6, 2026.
