Submission Fees

The abstract submission fee is a processing fee that is nonrefundable (regardless of acceptance). Once the abstract has been submitted, it is considered processed.

Sunday, March 1. The reservation hub will remain open until all GSA-negotiated space is sold out or until September 28, 2026.

Starting Sunday, March 1, exhibitor, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities will be available. Sales will remain open until all sponsorships are sold or through November 6, 2026, with exhibitor sales closing on October 30, 2026.

Please note: Program Areas open for Late Breaker Poster Abstracts Submissions are: Behavioral and Social Sciences (priority will be given to GSA student and transitional members and non-member students); Biological Sciences; Health Sciences; Social Research, Policy, and Practice; and Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education

All selected abstract speakers must register or withdraw for GSA 2026 by Thursday, July 29, 2026.

Registration

All meeting participants (Speakers, Chairs, Discussants, etc.) are required to register to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting. Register by 11:59 PM ET, September 1, 2026, to receive the Early Bird rate.

To confirm your participation at GSA 2026, all speakers must register by August 6, 2026. *Date subject to change

Registration Opens March 1

Abstract Book

Accepted abstracts will be published in a supplement issue of Innovation in Aging , under the title: Program Abstracts from the GSA 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting. The Abstract Book will be available electronically only.

The abstract information published in the Abstract Book will appear exactly as provided in the abstract submission (i.e., author information: names, institution/organization, city, state, country; abstract title; abstract text).
